Michael L. Weissman has been associated with the Firm since 1994 and a Shareholder since 2004.  He has represented employers, labor organizations, and individuals in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including unfair labor practice litigation and representational issues before the National Labor Relations Board, arbitration of disputes under collective bargaining agreements, and employment litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. 

 Mike also counsels clients regarding the drafting of employment policies, handbooks, and agreements, and in connection with labor-management relations.

Mike received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was Executive Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law. He received his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from the University of Michigan.

Mike has been admitted to practice law in Michigan since 1994 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has presented at numerous labor and employment law conferences, and is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, and the Oakland County Bar Association.
